Haase Can't Upset Third Seed Simon

Robin Haase is out of the 43rd edition of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament. The Dutchman played a good first set against third-seeded Gilles Simon, but couldn’t keep up his high level in the second: 6-7 (5), 1-6.
“To be honest, Robin deserved to win the first set”, Simon said afterwards. “I survived with some luck. I was warned because matches against Robin are always tough.”
Haase's loss means that all the Dutch players are now eliminated. Jean-Julien Rojer is still in the doubles tournament, though.
Simon will take on Alexander Zverev for a spot in the quarter finals on Thursday night.
