Jeremy Chardy, 30th player in the world, qualified for the second round of the ATP tournament in Delray Beach (Florida) by easily beating Australian Matthew Ebden (105) 6-2, 6-1 Tuesday.
Chardy, 28, playing his second tournament since losing in the second round of the Australian Open. He had reached the 8th finals in Rotterdam last week.
