Baghdatis Beats Goffin in ATP Rotterdam


David Goffin had big plans, but he will have to wait at least one more year for a chance to win the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament. The Belgian lost to Marco Baghdatis in a first round centre court thriller.
The fourth placed Belgian was beaten in two hours and fifteen minutes: 6-1, 5-7, 7-6 (5).
The 2006 Australian Open finalist was 5-2 points down in the deciding tiebreak but still managed to win by winning five points in a row.
Baghdatis will play in the winner of the Tommy Robredo-Martin Klizan match up in the next round against. That match is played Tuesday night.
